Environmental Policy

TERRAmēnsus GP, recognizing the great importance of environmental protection, implements an effective Environmental Management System, aiming to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment.

The company aims for full compliance with current Greek and EU Environmental Legislation, has obtained all legally required permits and approvals governing its activities, and is fully consistent with the limits it must observe.

To ensure the minimization of pollutants, the company has developed and is committed to continuously improving its Waste Management System and Energy Management System. To meet these commitments, the Company’s Management will provide material resources and human capital to the extent necessary, making corresponding investments.

The Environmental Policy of TERRAmēnsus GP focuses on achieving the following goals:

• Documented recycling of all by-products and waste resulting from company activity.
• Reduction of the consumption of critical resources such as fuel and electricity.
• Control of all safety parameters from risks created during operation, implementing a full Safety & Accident Prevention and Emergency Management System.

TERRAmēnsus GP evaluates and improves its overall Environmental Performance by drafting and implementing Action Programs to achieve specific Environmental Purposes and Objectives within defined timeframes. It adopts specific environmental control rules in its internal operations to inspect all monitoring means, equipment, and procedures.

The Environmental Policy, with which all actions of TERRAmēnsus GP are harmonized, is communicated to staff and social partners and is also made public outside the enterprise. The company is committed to establishing the concept of ecological sensitivity and environmental vision throughout the organizational hierarchy.
